We had an interview with Erna Wegman, who is the Head of Finance in Solidaridad. Solidaridad is an international solution-oriented civil society organization.
Solidaridad’s vision of the world is one in which everything that is produced and consumed can sustain us while respecting the planet, each other and the next generations.
Their mission is to ​​bring together supply chain companies and engage them in​​ innovative solutions to improve production, ensuring the transition to a ​​sustainable and inclusive economy that maximizes the ​​benefit for all.

Some of the campaigns which Solidaridad has worked on include: 

• • Training farmers in farming techniques that have less negative impact on people and the environment and lead to better products and higher yields. 
  • Support companies to implement corporate social responsibility (CSR) and source sustainably in developing countries. 
  • Supporting civil society organizations that empower women, farmers or employees, as well as organizations that protect nature and the environment. 

The main issue which Solidaridad was facing before the implementation of FinancialForce within their network was that the systems which they were using were disconnected one from another. Since that implementation, Solidaridad is fully integrated on the Salesforce platform and is in a continuous course of improving their management of information and processes.
